Jonna’e was born in Inglewood, California she has 2 siblings, a brother, and a sister. Joined the United States Army on Nov 96 as a 68W Medic and retired at 20 years. Currently, a full-time student at Southwest University at El Paso pursuing her Bachelor’s in Healthcare Administration. “I have a great love for humanity and empathy for the misfortunate. I believe in donating my time and skills to help others to create a better world.”

Sabrina “Tried N True” Brooks #2

Most Prestigious Sister Sabrina Brooks was born in Columbus, GA; raised in College Park, GA and is the oldest of two. Enlisting into the United States Army December 2000, her career began in Darmstadt, Germany and is currently still serving. She traveled to many locations to include Germany, Korea, Fort Sill, OK, Fort Polk, LA, Fort Benning, GA, Fort Bragg, NC, Fort Belvoir, VA, Fort Knox, KY, and Fort Gillem, GA. She is single and the mother of one child; a daughter. All struggles of her past have become the strength of her future. She has a passion for helping those that are unable to help themselves or the less fortunate. By being a part of the Domestic Violence Shelter for Women and Children, with the Ronald McDonald House to cook and feed family members of hospitalized children, etc… She achieved her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management. Her main principles are God, Stability, Love, Family, Tradition, and Loyalty. She is the #2 of 5 proud Founders of PSI RHO CHI Military Sorority, INC.

Shelia “Enchantment” DeJurnett #3

I was born and raised in Selma, Alabama. I have two daughters, one lil granny. I am the youngest in my family out of nine siblings, four sisters and five brothers. I joined the military in May 2, 1994 as a Military Police/Correctional Officer, until my retirement in 2015 of 20yrs, 10mos, and 11 days SFC/E7(it was time for me to go)!

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from CTC….Central Texas College, and a Certificate in Medical Assistant. The one thing that I love the most is my family! I am definitely Army for life!

Sandra “Ghost” Gaines #4

My name is Sandra Gaines, I was born and raised in Peoria, Illinois, my parents are Sarah Shumate and Essex Higgins, I have four siblings all three of the older siblings are deceased, my sister between me and sister, I never met because she died when she was a baby. I have four children 1 adult son, 1 adult daughter, 1 teenage son with one deceased daughter. I am currently in the process of adopting my niece, who is 5 years old, so a total of five kids. I was married for eight years and divorced for fifteen years. No regrets!

I joined the Army on April 15, 1999, from St. Louis Missouri as 75 Bravo and retired as 92A. I was in the Army for 15.5 years, until the drawdown in 2014. I did my basic and AIT training in Fort Jackson, my first duty station was Fort Campbell, Kentucky, the 129′ Sustainment Brigade for two years. I was spent one year in Seoul, Korea, and from there, I spent 3 years at Carlisle Barracks (The Army War College). I pcs and came to Fort Bliss, Texas, to the 2-43 ADA, here is where most of my military career and overseas tours took place, I worked in the training room, small work in the SSA. I worked in the Battalion as the Schools NCOIC and Defense Travel System. After my Senior leaders’ course, I pcs to Fort Carson, Colorado. And deployed to Afghanistan.

Upon retirement in 2014, I attended Milan Cosmetology school, graduated as and licensed cosmetologist, received my Associate of Arts degree from El Paso Community College, Bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas of El Paso (UTEP) in Multidisciplinary studies. I am a current graduate from the University of Phoenix with, a Master’s in Arts and Education from the University of Phoenix.

My hobbies include working out, hanging out with my kids, reading, cooking, baking, grilling, movies, whatever else I might think is fun to do.

Tiffiny “Precision” China #5

Tiffiny China was born in Brooklyn, New York and is the third oldest of four. She joined the U.S. Army in May 1997 as a Combat Medic and served until she was medically retired with 22 years of honorable service in December 2019 as a Sergeant First Class. Her duty assignments include Fort Leonard Wood, Fort Sam Houston, Fort Riley, Korea, Fort Stewart, and Fort Polk with tours to Iraq and Afghanistan. She is married and has four children: two girls and two boys, and five grandchildren: two girls and three boys.
